Day 3 — Acts 3
Healing at the Gate
Chapter Summary
Peter and John encounter a man who had been unable to walk since birth while entering the temple. Instead of giving money, Peter speaks healing in the name of Jesus, and the man is instantly restored. Crowds gather in amazement as the healed man praises God publicly. Peter uses the opportunity to point people toward Jesus as the true source of healing and hope.
Reflection Focus — Read Acts 3:1-10 (focus on verse 6)
Peter recognized that while he could not offer wealth, he could offer something far greater through Jesus. Sometimes we underestimate how God can use our ordinary obedience to impact others deeply. The miracle began with simple faith and willingness to respond to someone’s need. God often works powerfully through people who are available rather than impressive.
Today’s Challenge
Offer encouragement, prayer, or practical kindness to someone who may be struggling.
Prayer
Jesus, help me freely give what You have given me. Use my life to bring hope, healing, and compassion to others. Amen.
