Serving With Wisdom

Chapter Summary

As the church grows rapidly, practical needs begin to create tension among believers. The apostles appoint seven wise and Spirit-filled men to oversee food distribution so ministry can continue effectively. Stephen emerges as a powerful leader known for wisdom, faith, and miracles. The church continues growing because people are willing to serve faithfully in different roles.

The early church valued both spiritual maturity and practical wisdom in leadership. Serving others was not considered less important than preaching or teaching. God uses faithful acts of service to strengthen and build His church. Often the most meaningful ministry happens quietly behind the scenes.

Serve someone quietly today without needing recognition.

Lord, help me serve faithfully in both small and significant tasks. Fill me with wisdom and humility. Amen.
